9 - Configuring your Hubdog

Settings

By clicking on the settings button, you can navigate through the different options to customize Hubdog to your own personal need and to your specific device.

Menu -> Management -> Settings

General
Allows you to configure general settings of Hubdog.
For more information take a look at the “Settings :: General” section.

Download Threads
By default, Hubdog will download only 1 enclosure at a time. If you want Hubdog to download 2 or 3 enclosures simultaneously, change this setting.

Enlarge title bar
When navigating in the Item view, When the “My Channel”, or the “Channel” zone is selected, Hubdog will enlarge the title bar for easy access to the navigation arrow for the touch screens devices. Smartphone device can unselect this setting.

Status Monitor
The status monitor will give you helpful information about “My Channel” and Hubdog. For more information take a look at the “Settings :: Status Monitor” section.

Disk Space
The “Disk Space” interface will give you relevant information about the disk space size of every channel. Many options are available from this interface to manage efficiently your device disk space.

Internet Connection
Hubdog can block or allow different Internet connection. For example, if you want Hubdog to download content via Activesync but never with your GPRS connection, this interface will allow you to do so.

Today Screen
Hubdog comes with a Today Screen that allows you to view and read directly from the Windows Mobile Today screen. This interface will allow you to configure which channel should be shown on the today screen.
It is good to track new items in important channel.
Clicking on the today screen will automatically start Hubdog.

Install Today Plugin
To install the today screen click on this option and follow the onscreen steps.
