i just assumed that action was like clicking something which i thought was redundant and pointless until i read instructions on importing channels from the opml (.xml) files. I click on action and it doesn't do any thing, no expandable sub-menu, nothing... that's not ok

got to the import opml from file but i only get a Tree view of folders... not files. it won't let me click a folder and find the opml file to import.

When veiwing a channel it tells mee to refesh to see content so I do and still no content or episodes. It shows nothing on the cannel except the name, Diggnation (small flash)

How do i disable GPRS? when i run the program it constantly attempts to connect to a data network but i dont have one setup. I only want to update the feeds via active sync.

I am a publisher and someone created a channel on hubdog with my content. I would like to monetize the channel, nominally, but cannot delete the free channel... how can I do this?

Hi There, i tried to register to your forum but it seems to be down.
Ive noticed that even if i block my cell connection that hubdog tries to bring it up now and then, and sync its channels. This has used almost 80megs of my monthly quota on the cell network. is there a way to stop hubdog from even trying to bring up a net connection ? Seems to happen when it sense the wireless connection or active drops out, it tries to setup a connection then works out its not allowed to.
Ive also noticed that hubdog has way too much priority in the cpu cycles. I cant let hubdog sync via the active link, as the jasjam will almost lockup when the sync manager tries to sync the jasjam and hubdog tries to update. Perhaps get hubdog to wait until the first sync task has been done, or allow hubdog to run in lower cpu priority

What I see in my 2.0 version is that despite the setting of only 3 podcasts which must downloaded, the queue shows downloading of a lot of older podcasts. Deleted them from the queue but they are coming back in at the bottom.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. It's filling 4GB of Storage card space with the same small group of podcasts downloading over and over again.

How do you get Hubdog to download only the LATEST podcast from a channel? Mine keeps downloading the old first.

"Bad Username/Password combinaison" <--not my misspelling, exists in program.
REGISTER
Gives error:
"Invalid Birthday"

I was able to wipe my system clean (holding down both softkeys during a hard reset... which deletes everything and rebuilds the system from scratch), and I was able to re-install hubdog w/o this problem. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, as it took a full day to re-install all my apps.

I have Hubdog installed on a HTC p3300 (wm5) and cannot manage to create new folders : should i use the contextual menu or the normal menu after selecting "My Channels", nothing happens...
Does anyone knows about this issue ?

You need to click on search this wiki and type in the name of the folder you want to make.
then press DO YOU WANT TO CREATE THIS WIKI.

When adding/creating a channel,
The adult field should be Radio Button. Neither Yes or No is selected forcing submiter to enter answer.
If radio button remains untouch after submit; prompt user: "You must say whether it's adult"

You know what, due to some settings in Firefox, that Radio Button would get displayed right at the bottom of the popup window when you hit 'I like it'. That Radio Button is virtually invisible. You need to keep on pressing tab when the Radio Button finally shows up. Anyway, Thanks Brad, Your post helped me out since it was the first to be displayed when I Googled it.

Disk Space Manager (Menu-Management-Settings-Disk Space) only lists one of my seven channels. The top of the screen reads "Your Channels (Scanning...)". How can I get it to list my other six channels? This error appeared only recently--previously all channels were properly listed.

Any idea why some of my channels aren't updating with current episodes? They look correct online, and if I go in and change the number of enclosures to save it will bring in the new ones, but why does it not automatically get rid of the older ones and update with new ones? I am not automatically downloading, I just manually download the episodes I can use. Thanks!

Agreed, a number of them aren't updating on my Smartphone w/ version 2.2. They update fine on web based site, but not on Smartphone. Tried refreshing, deleting and refreshing, etc... nothing.
Not all channels do this, but one (of a few that I have) is APM's Writer's Almanac, http://www.hubdog.com/c/88852. Hopefully this might help a debug... ???

I think that the current way podcast are managed does not handle a lot of scenario. I would prefer something like :
Download all podcast younger than (x days) and keep them (x days, months, until played, until a new item, always)

Hubdog seems rather weak here. I 've only used the product for a day now, but I can't find any control for what part of an RSS feed I get. For example, Instructors are not publilshing their courses as RSS feeds that may have over 100 chapters. I can't find way to get more than 30 chapters, much less which ones of the 100 I get. I may have to move to another product.

when selecting a non-cached podcast, coreplayer starts up, and while core player can resolve valid URLs, hubdog always supplies an invalid URL.
